about

H.H. Holmes is about America's first serial killer. I was falling asleep to a documentary about him and was woken up from all the disturbing things this guy did.

Not only disturbing, but mastermind evil genius level of disturbing.

I couldn't rest until I wrote a song about him.

lyrics

Verse
I really love your cheek bones
I want to take you home, all alone.
Yeah, all alone.

You won’t see the World Fair again
Or breathe the open air. Actually,
you won’t breathe at all

Verse
My doors open to nothing
My stairs go nowhere
Nowhere at all.

So lie down my love
Know that I’m watching
as I remove
all the air from your room

Prechorus
Welcome to the World Fair
I’ve got a room to spare
No matter what you try
Tonight, you're gonna die

Verse
So you’ve clawed through your throat
Must’ve been the gas I pumped into your room
Yeah, into your room

Now I’ll slice away your meat
And sell your skeleton across the street
That can’t be beat

Prechorus
You need a breath of fresh air
But there’s none to spare
Look into my eyes
As I watch you die

Chorus
I slide you into the basement
That’s my haven
That’s where I’ll do surgery

My skill with the scalpel
your flesh so supple
It pulls away so gently

I got you down to your bones
so far from home
I’ll put a price tag on your fate

I hear some more cries
Time to say our goodbyes
as your skull articulates.
